I don’t write many reviews anymore, but this shop earned one. I did a ton of research before choosing Darkside, and the deciding factor was that there isn’t a single artist there who’s ‘less than great’ — the skill and artistic ability across the whole staff is top tier.They matched me with different artists based on what I needed: one rework and one touch-up, and both came out amazing. Joe and Dave were great to work with, and Maddie went out of her way to squeeze me into the schedule, which made all the difference. The pre-booking process and their text platform made communication easy and transparent from start to finish.The shop is spotless, the conversation is great, and the whole experience was first class. Highly recommend.

I got a helix piercing from Melinda and it was a lovely experience. I tend to be squeamish and sensitive, and she walked me through everything and it was quick and painless. She was thoughtful and considerate, and chose the perfect piercing jewelry that matched what I came in wearing without me even having to ask. I am very faint at the sight of blood, even my own, so she was careful about cleaning up and incredibly gentle. She also gave very detailed and comprehensive aftercare info. 10/10 experience.
