I really liked how they could inspect a multitude of options and I could add a cistern, septic, and fire place inspections and not have to line up multiple people. Such as use of drones for a good review of the roof. And thermal imaging camera on the interior of the home.Two inspectors were on site, which always good to have a few set of eyes on things. Both inspectors (Ryan and Suk) were great to deal with. Offered thorough explanations of what they were looking for. As well as explanations of issues to watch for. It was great to see that even minor details were picked out as this was for a new build.The ability to pick and choose extras for each inspection is great. Depending on whether looking at a new build or an older home.Highly recommend.

Previous to this I had only gone through an inspection process for a townhouse which was much less extensive as the exterior was not my responsibility. I like that the digital report given was clearly labelled and organized by section. I appreciate the amount of detail given even for minor issues as it basically makes me a prioritized "to-do" list down the road for this property. Dennis was very helpful after the inspection in explaining everything and giving me piece of mind as to what is a "must-do" now vs what could be done down the road.Overall would recommend and enlist their service again in future.

They provide a written report at the end, which was sent quickly and with information you didn’t even know you needed, but will be thankful to have. We called late in the day before a long weekend, Ryan responded very promptly and they set up an appointment early the following week that really helped us. Dennis came and provided a very thorough, professional and concise written report with pictures. The report provided was in both a pdf and through an easy to navigate/search onlinr format that works great on mobile devices. This was handy as I'm coming from a different province and on the road a lot. Pictures of all FLIR readings and potential issues from the smallest to the largest are provided and explained with recommendations. Honestly, I don't have a single criticim. 11/10.

UPDATE: Got the inspection done as promised and they did a great job! Ryan paid close attention to everything and I felt super confident. Ryan took time to explain everything to us and then we got the report within hours and it nicely detailed with pictures and everything required. I’m so glad I chose this company and highly recommend them!!Bought a spec home and was told the house would be ready for inspection. So I called and booked with Emerald and paid in advance. They came right on time but unfortunately the house was not ready for the inspection. So thankful to Dennis as he agreed to come back in a few weeks and take care of it when the house is actually ready. Although the inspection is not done yet, I already feel so confident working with Dennis and his team. Will post an update once the inspection is complete.
