The one doing my feet was concerned about a younger lady doing her work and beginning to gossip about her with colleagues and / or boss. Additionally, they are passive-aggressive, although the lady seem sweet, she was deceitful and mischievous, and the owner egocentric. They were asked if they could do a service and was advised they could. I told them what I wanted and didn't want. There was no miscommunication or language barrier, I was speaking to the owner, the younger guy who sat in front with a young lady(she was actually nice). He is not an expert, though he exclaimed he had been doing his work for a number of years, over 7- 10, I recall. I normally tip, but he overcharged me by $10 for two overlays that are normally $5 each which turned out to be $20 because he failed to do my big toe as I wanted then proceeded to tell me the best way he could do it which should have been established from beginning. I'm not responsible for his lack of expertise or communicating a resolution for the customer's concern, and I should not be held accountable for it. Honestly, if there wasn't a hygienic and sanitary issue, I would give them at least a 3.5 even with the services I was provided because they tried just not at their best especially with polish and wax left on the sole and top of my feet!
