I found Brandon's business through a Google search. I needed to board my dog and while looking to board him I read about the "Go Anywhere Dog". I had trained my dog myself and he was doing great, but we had an incident while going into a restaurant that traumatized him(a vacuum cleaner was turned on next us while walking by). It was disappointing as before that he was great going into stores and restaurants with no issues. After that he would lock up and even occasionally pee from nervousness. I explained all this to Brandon and he decided to take on the challenge. Brandon had him for about 4 weeks. I was given a turnover by the handler who had worked with him and sent on my way. After having him back for a few days I felt he was worse than when I dropped him off. I called Brandon and talked to him and he said to bring him back and he and I would work one on one with my dog to figure out the issues. It took quite a while to get a time scheduled due to my work schedule and Brandon's busy schedule, but once we did, what a difference it made. During my turnover I was not properly shown how my new dog worked and what changes in behaviors were made ( Brandon had an issue with some past dog handler employees and has since eliminated the problems). Once all of the things were explained from Brandon, Wow what a difference in my dog's relationship with me in the working dog sense. I originally wanted to train him as a service dog and had almost reached the quitting point due to the stress it was causing him and myself. With Brandon's tweaks I was able to start reintroduce going in stores and after his confidence increased, we started going into restaurants together with no issues. I recently had to make a last minute over seas trip and didn't have time to do the paperwork to take him, so I called Brandon and asked if I could board him there and have him fine tune him as a true service dog. My trip went longer than expected, but I couldn't be happier with the dog he as became under Brandon's care. I finally have the Dog I always wanted. Thank you Brandon and all the current staff!

I found Riverbend Canine through a local search, and they are amazing! They’re affordable, communicate clearly at every step, and send photo updates throughout the process. They are incredibly accommodating and genuinely care about getting to know your dog personally. We have a 9 month old puppy mixed with Australian Shepherd and a lab/hound mix (we are unsure), she used to struggle with jumping on people, running off towards people/animals, chewing on house hold items, whining out of boredom, leash walking, and not being able to be content. We could never take her into stores or crowded areas before her training, only parks/dog parks. Lainey is now a whole different dog, while still having her same personality, and our biggest blessings are that she can now walk on and off and just chill around the house with us and be just as happy! All bad behaviors were fixed and she is now my favorite shopping buddy. The pictures say it all😊

Don’t waste your money. The owner does not keep the life long commitment that you think you are paying for. I was told 6 to 8 weeks of training $2800 and I got 3 maybe 4 weeks. I have called and texted to schedule rime for needed assistance and no response. Not to mention before we started training I was told he would be trained by his partner and my dog ended up with someone that did not work for the company to be trained. I prefer a refund with all the issues that came with this.

Maybe you feel alone because your dog isn't like other dogs. Maybe you just wish you had a 'normal' and 'behaved' dog. There aren’t even words to express how grateful we are for Brandon and RiverBend Canine Training. Our 3 year old pittie rescue was out of control and we were at our wits end. We’d tried another trainer and the behaviors kept getting worse. We were a bane to the neighborhood and law enforcement said if something didn’t change we’d have a legal situation. They said we might just have to put her down. She was anxious and out of control and we felt helpless.When Aspen’s board and training program was up we went and spent several hours being trained by Brandon. The dog we came home with was a completely different dog. She’s obedient, more confident and my daughter can even take her for a walk- something that was impossible a few months ago. We couldn’t have people over before or walk around the neighborhood out of fear of what would happen. Now everything has changed. She’s a pleasure to be around. And he equipped us on what to do when challenges arise - and they work!Brandon not only trained our dog, he also trained us and gave us the tools we needed and gave us a big part of our lives back. And we got to keep a member of our family we were afraid we’d lose.It was worth every penny and we’ll always be grateful.

She was no longer able to raise and breed them. Abby is a ten month old puppy that was a wild child when we received her.Looking for dog training and possible therapy training we choose Riverbend based on reviews and personal friends who had Brandon and the team train their fury friends. The team brought out the best in Abby and us. Their training treats both the dog and the family to be great partners in doing life on the journey.The transformation was amazing. We now have a great family member and a therapy dog that works with individuals that need some love. The team over at Riverbend Canine are life savers. My pup marlboro was having intense reactivity issues, we could hardly walk him without him lunging at other dogs, barking, and a whole myriad of other bad behaviors. I reached out to Brandon about getting some training and he instantly set us up with the perfect plan to get marlboros issues resolved. I surveyed 10+ other facilities to train marlboro, they were all lacking in my core values to train my dog and did not make me comfortable with leaving my dog with them, this was until I found Riverbend. Brandon, Alisha, and the entire team made me feel so comfortable with leaving my puppy with them. They do not only train the puppy, they also educate you and help you learn how to continue making your dog a better dog. After two weeks of Marlboros training with Alisha and Brandon, marlboros obedience was immensely better and he was able to go out in public without reacting and showing signs of aggression. Marlboro now walks in crowded public spaces, knows commands, and is a completely better dog! Getting this training has not only made my life easier, but it has made my dog a more confident and proficient dog.
