Prices are a bit pricey but WELL WORTH IT. Only had enough time on lunch to grab a few bites of the Papa Asada and it blew me out of my seat of how delicious it was.😮‍💨🫠Update: colleagues and I came back to have a full meal! Every bite was legendary! 😭

Great Mexican restaurant in the heart of Renton! Shout out to our server Ruben. He was great and offered their specials for the day and helped us navigate the menu since it was our first time.The Zapata’s Margarita comes in what seems to be a goblet. Don’t let that intimidate you. There’s a lot of ice in it so you can drink 2 during dinner and be fine. I got mine with tajin on the rim.For dinner I got the two enchiladas which were out of this world. Some of the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. You can mix and match your choice of sauces and meat. The sauces were Rojo, Verde, A la crema, and Mole. I got a chicken in verde and pork with a la crema.My aunt got the beef flautas and really enjoyed them. The rice and beans that come as the sides were also fantastic. I killed the rice but couldn’t finish the refried beans. I was already stuffed by then.If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in the area, I highly recommend Zapata’s.
