We very much enjoyed Aria Kebab for lunch today. The lamb shawarma and chicken gyro sandwiches were delicious. The flavors were amazing and several dipping sauces are served at the table. The cheeseburger and fries are no ordinary burger. It is ground lamb that has a great texture and seasoned perfectly with spices. A ton of flavor! The French fries remind me of the flavor curly fries but in a regular fry shape. You can dip the fries in the 4 sauces that are brought to the table. I’m looking forward to coming back again and trying the meat/rice platters.

Linda and I recently dined at Aria Kabab an Afghan restaurant in Clifton Park.A varied and appealing menu and scrumptious foods. The interior is designed with faux marble panels, nearly floor to ceiling and trimmed with hardwood contemporary wainscoting. I believe they put a fortune on the walls of a building they likely do not own.A charming environment with very modest prices for delicious foods. However, the kicker is they have a tray of Quran’s near checkout. I asked if I might take one to my table for a brief read. The cashier said., “ Sure, and you may keep it.” I was baffled. I began reading the Quran as I ate and continued when I arrived home. It was really easy to determine that Islamic terrorists have never read, nor subscribe to the Quran. I am now thru reading 25% of the Quran and what I’ve read are totally non-violent humanitarian verses.Certainly nothing as violent as the Old Testament. Uncertain if this holds through for the entire read, but I’ll let you know if it changes. And… I’m a lifelong Christian..
