Construction projects can be difficult from finding a trustworthy contractor, ensuring the work is done properly/safely, final outcome is what you envision, etc. Selective blew everything out of the park. Having Samantha as our point person was a privilege. She is so knowledge and professional, yet incredibly kind and approachable and it made it easy to work with her. Knowing she was a quick phone call or text away made all the difference and assuaged any concerns or worries that came up during the course of the project. If there were issues, they were addressed in a timely fashion and with no nagging on our end. We just had our basement and garage finished with selective remodeling. Mike and Samantha were a pleasure to work with. Very professional from start to finish. The proposal was fair and very straightforward. I really liked how they used visuals to outline the entire project. The project stayed on time. Communication was great. The workers each day were wonderful as well. Also loved the app that they use to track work progress. It was great to see pictures while at work of their progress and see the entire schedule outlined day by day. Good morning all! After 3-5 estimates, and over 10 months of saving and planning, our unfinished basement is complete. We couldnt be happier with the way Selective Remodeling took our vision, and brought it to life. They were honest, upfront about pricing and very transparent. Their communication, during the entire 9-10weeks of work in our house, was very thorough. Naturally, with material and deliveries, some things are out of their control in regards to timeline, and yet they STILL made their timeline of completion, as mentioned in our contract. But that wasnt the most important aspect of their work. It was their daily logs of their progress. It was their planning, and literally a book, of every step/phase of our job. You may initially think Selective Remodeling is going to be over priced, when you see the quality of their work, their showroom, and their technology they use to build your vision. However, they are not. If anything, they are more upfront and honest about every price and cost of your job, so you get a true sense of what your vision is going to cost you for their quality and craftsmanship, to complete it! Selective was spot on with pricing and actually a bit less expensive then 2 other estimates we received. In hindsight, seeing the completion of our job, and the work put in to it, we have NO regrets about deciding to use Selective remodeling for our basement reno. Mike and his team care about their work, care about your vision, and care that you are happy with the end result! Mike and the staff at Selective Remodeling understand and appreciate the value of being invited into your home to make your dreams come true. I waited decades to get my kitchen overhauled. It is a daunting process for sure. From layout to design choices to final walk through, problems were met and handled well and I have a kitchen that brings me happiness and was worth the wait! Mike makes it a point to say he and his team follow up and guarantee their work for 5 years. This length of time is unheard of and honestly, my husband thought after the 1st check, we’d never hear from the company. It gives me great joy to say he was so wrong.
