However, it became apparent very quickly that the SR team are also truly great people with massive hearts.Along with many others in the community, my wife and I were impacted after a previous company filed chapter 7, kept our sizable deposit and left us (along with many others on Long Island) stranded. Without getting too personal, I'll just say that a critical, accessibility-focused bathroom remodel was necessary for medical reasons.After reading of what had happened in Newsday and knowing of our personal reasons that made the job a necessity, we were contacted by Ryan Hickey, a salesperson who after speaking with Mike Patti and Joe Agate, the owners of Selective Remodeling asked us to visit the showroom and immediately offered to help with the project.At every step along the way, expectations were exceeded. We had an entire team of top-notch professionals in constant contact. Ryan offered to forgo his commission and suppliers pitched in to help. In short, the project became a community effort. In today's world, where most seem to only look out for themselves, it can be easy to lose faith in neighbors, to lose faith in kindness and compassion. We’ve had our new bathroom for a few months now, and after having some time to actually live with it, we’re very happy with how everything came together. This was a complete renovation with quite a bit packed into a relatively small space, and one of the things we appreciated most about Selective was having one team coordinate the entire project from start to finish.Armand was great to work with during the initial process and helped get everything moving. Chelsea was excellent on the design side and helped us put together a bathroom that feels cohesive and really fits our home. Rob did a great job managing the project and coordinating all of the different moving pieces and trades involved.I especially want to recognize Samantha. As with any major construction project, there were a few hiccups along the way, but what mattered to us was how they were handled. Samantha was consistently on top of things, communicated with us, followed through, and made sure anything that came up was addressed properly. She genuinely seemed invested in making sure we were happy with the finished project, and that made a big difference in our experience.Now that we’ve been able to enjoy the bathroom for a few months, we’re really happy with the finished space. From the heated floor and tile work to the cabinetry, fixtures and overall design, it has completely transformed the room and has been a huge improvement for our home.Thank you to Armand, Chelsea, Rob, Samantha, and everyone at Selective who worked on our project. I'm very pleased with the work performed from the entire Selective Remodeling team. Although this was a relatively small job, it needed to be done correctly. Gutter, facia boards, roof drip, and trim out 3 windows)Joe came to the house and reviewed my request, evaluated and explained what needed to be done, and provided a detailed written estimate. Joe was great to work with. His staff communicated throughout each step. His construction team was knowledgeable and worked professionally.I look forward to working with Joe and SR for my next project.

We’re currently working with Selective Remodeling on a first floor extension which includes a new kitchen, new bedrooms, and new bathrooms. Given the huge scale of our project, we met with several different contractors and were very picky about who to hire. After meeting with Mike, we felt confident that we had found a contractor who would be organized, transparent, and committed to giving us the best possible result. After months of planning and a few weeks of construction completed so far, we know we made the right choice! Mike, Samantha, Sabrina, Chelsea, and the rest of the team have made us feel like a priority throughout the process. Their planning is thorough, with every detail “down to the nail”. We set out to find a contractor that would help us build our dream home with no surprises, and we’ve found it with Selective. They’ve gone out of their way to make us feel like family, and they even brought us delicious homemade food after our child was born!
