What made us choose Melanie as our birth doula for our first birth experience was the fact that she was Catholic and she offered a lot in her birth package. She was extremely helpful all throughout my pregnancy, especially on the day of my delivery. She helped us map out a birth plan and she did a great job educating us. During my labor, Melanie coached me through exercises she prepped us with to deal with the contractions. After I got my epidural, I was still experiencing pain on my right side. Melanie spent hours lightly shaking the area to get my daughter to move. It really helped me deal with the pain. She also helped the nurse with getting my daughter to turn face down to prepare for birth. Melanie offered me the comfort and support I needed in the last hours of my labor. Because of her support, my husband was able to get some extra sleep so he could be present with me and available post-birth.I would strongly recommend Melanie as a doula.

Melanie's Daddy class was great! She was really well-prepared and answered all the questions I had.She covered a bunch of different topics and explained everything clearly. It was also super helpful that she shared the material ahead of time—it made it a lot easier to take notes and keep up.Really enjoyed the session!
