the food was superrrr yummy!! went out to eat with my sister and my friend and i was not disappointed!! i ordered the butter chicken (a classic) and it was delicious! the side of rice and the garlic naan were incredible, and the proportions were great as well! i also tried the mango lassi, and wow it was great! definitely a new favorite!!!the service was amazing!! the man taking care of us was absolutely kind and amazing, so i thank him very much!! i will definitely be coming back soon!!

A friend and I were in Toms River this weekend and decided to see if there were any Indian restaurants in town. Ellie's had great reviews, but we frankly didn't know if we could trust Toms River Indian food.Very happy to say that we could. We shared the chana masala appetizer and got lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala. Everything was exceptional and our waiter, RIyaz, was as friendly and helpful and attentive as we could have hoped.We have both eaten at many Indian restaurants in our lives and we both agreed that Ellie's was as good as any of them. Also worth noting that it is a bring your own, which keeps the cost down if you want to have a couple of drinks with your dinner.We will go back there the very first chance that we get.

Went here on a whim after my friend passed the sign on the sidewalk earlier today. And holy moly! What a hidden gem. Some of the tastiest Indian food I've had! Had the lamb rogan josh and chicken vindaloo, chicken 65, and a few other things. Everything was amazingly tasty. Lamb was so tender, and the chicken was nice and moist. Definitely will be coming back to try their buffet too.

My boyfriend and I have been to Ellie’s about 4/5 times now and every single time it is absolutely amazing! We’ve sat down for lunch, dinner even gotten take out and all have been flawless. We’ve tried multiple things and all have been exceptional dishes. Everything is packed with rich, savory flavor and being able to choose your spice level is an added bonus. If there’s a few things you have to get its the samosa chat, chicken tikkamasala, and the biryani with goat! Scoop it all up with some roti or naan bread! Their cocktails are great too!Regarding the service, Heera and Riyaz are amazing servers but everyone that works there is so friendly and welcoming…it’s a very warm environment. I can’t recommend this place enough. We live on lbi and are willing to travel to Tom’s River for Ellies.

We've been to Ellie's twice and absolutely love the food and the atmosphere. Our waiter was Riyaz, and he did a great job. The spicy cauliflower specifically is unbelievable. We plan to go back often and check out their buffet.

First time visiting. Great atmosphere great service, but most importantly the best Indian food around. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in trying Indian food. They are very authentic and have many options. The butter chicken is a 10/10!!! The price was reasonable!
