I can't say enough praises about The Lutherville Rock School!!! My youngest son has been playing there now for 4 years and absolutely loves it. He takes private, weekly (electric) guitar lessons (loves his teacher!), and belongs to a band. The performance opportunities for the bands are wonderful. Everything is always well organized, the performance venues are always fun to attend with the entire family (I even bring along my 95-year-old mother) and to environment is nurturing and supportive for the kids. All the band performances are always recorded, so we can go back and re-listen to our son's band, which is really great because we can also share it with our family and friends The school also has a dedicated photographer who takes photos of the band two or three times a year so it's a nice touch to see your kid grow with the band year after year. The band coaches are very involved and dedicated, often stepping in if an extra player or a singer is needed during the shows. Teachers are accommodating to any scheduling problems and responsive to any other needs or concerns. And the owner of the school, Drew, is absolutely wonderful to deal with! We've had nothing but positive experience with him, and he's always tried to go way and beyond to keep us as satisfied customers. So if your kid loves rock and roll as much as my kid does, and has aspirations to join a band, don't look any further then LRS.

This school has amazing teachers and a wonderful sense of community. The space is fully renovated to support traditional instrument lessons and rock/pop music. Learners of all ages and skill levels have an opportunity to grow, and there are tons of chances to perform.Lots of workshops are available to give people an overview of all aspects of the music-making process.I have been able to watch my kids grow as musicians here, and I learned a new instrument myself!

The culture of the rock school is fabulous and supportive. Our son has been taking lessons for about a year and has learned a lot. Ansh is a very patient and creative teacher. He keeps it fun.

Both of my children have been taking lessons for several years now and I cannot speak more highly of this school. The teachers are phenomenal, both knowledgeable and engaging. The band program is top notch as well!

Lutherville Music School has been a wonderful experience for our family. She has been working with Justin and he is incredible! They are flexible with scheduling, especially when my daughter has to miss multiple lessons for a long vacation. What I love most is that they don’t pressure students to show immediate results. They truly work at your child’s pace. It’s a supportive and encouraging environment, and we’re so grateful for them!

LMS Rocks. My teacher Ben rocks. Music rocks, literally:) Lutherville Music School has a great community vibe with teachers who are patient, fun and encouraging. I signed up for lessons to learn basics so I can jam with my family and friends. And, to help with my memory and brain health that has taken a toll from the treatments I need to manage a blood cancer I have. Little did I know I would fall in love with the process of learning the ukulele and now the guitar. Lessons at LMS has truly helped make moments into memories for me and my fam. #grateful!!
