Andrew Stockdale with Plus Ultra Home Inspections did the inspection on a home we're purchasing in Edwardsville, and I couldn't have asked for a more thorough job. This was a newer build (2021), and a lot of inspectors would have given it a quick once-over and called it clean. Andrew didn't. He got on the standing seam metal roof and caught snow guards that weren't properly attached, found condensation inside the electrical panel, flagged negative grading and retaining wall issues that could cause water problems down the road, and even caught small stuff like a missing dishwasher high loop and an unsupported expansion tank.What stood out most was the report itself: clearly organized by severity, photos and videos for nearly every finding, the recommended contractor type for each repair, and documentation of things like appliance serial numbers, shutoff locations, and data plates that I'll actually use as a homeowner. He walked the attic, checked the basement, and didn't skip anything because the house was "new."He was on time, professional, and the report was in my hands fast - which matters when you're working against contract deadlines. If you're buying a home in the Metro East, use Andrew. He works for the buyer, not the deal.

Actually went and ventured off to find this company because we had previously used the Realtors company and we were not impressed with their lack of communication or their report they did on a previous house that we ended up not getting.They went above and beyond to put our mind to rest and the report is absolutely thorough down to the last t!I highly recommend spending the extra money to get the sewer scope and the termite inspection in any house it's because you never know what's hidden behind the walls and they did just thought.I will always use a company that I noticed is veteran owned and operated as a husband is a veteran and we appreciate their services.I cannot recommend this company enough thank y'all so much for everything.

Julian was wonderful! He was very helpful on the phone prior to even putting a deposit down. He came out quick and even came early to beat a storm. We received the report later that evening. He was very thorough and caught things we would have never thought about. Thanks for your help!

This was one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He is not part of a mold repair company so I felt I could trust him as an independent evaluator. He was very good at explaining everything about mold and water issues. He went everywhere, spent a long time in my attic and had excellent comments on my roof. He did at least 7 different types of inspection on walls and in basement (with and without water running) and concerning my A/C and Furnace. He confirmed my foundation is in good shape. He did find a few structural things to repair (things I can do like caulking) but no active mold growth anywhere and that gave me the peace of mind I needed (last year I had to have my kitchen and laundry room gutted due to mold, so this was a way to confirm all was done well). He was patient and kind. I wish him the best in his business.

I recently had an inspection completed by Julian .I’m very impressed with the level of detail, professionalism, and thoroughness throughout the entire process.
