I signed up for Black GOAT fitness a few weeks ago, and I can’t say enough good things! It’s been about a year since I’ve been to the gym, so I’ve gained a little weight and gotten out of shape. I was a bit intimidated initially, but that faded away almost immediately. Everyone - including coaches and fellow gym goers - have been incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it’s felt amazing getting back on track with a regular workout schedule. I honestly find myself looking forward to the classes; they’re dynamic, mixing both cardio and strength training, so I truly feel as though I’m working my entire body. They’re guided group classes, which is awesome because you don’t have to expend any time or energy trying to come up anything on your own - just follow along! The coaches take the time to really ensure you’re doing the movements correctly, and thoroughly explain all of the exercises for the day’s circuit - which is great for someone like me who knows a little, but struggles with proper form and even some exercise terminology. They have classes throughout the day, which is great for varying schedules. What impressed me most is the time that they take to give you not only a full tour of the gym, but a comprehensive analysis of your current health, ability, and goals to see how they can best help you achieve the results you personally want. It’s very helpful to understand where I’m currently at in terms of mobility, strength, and even my level of motivation! Very happy I found Black Goat, and I’m excited to continue learning and getting stronger! ❤️
