I've known Harman for over 10 years and have always known him to be someone who genuinely works hard for the people around him. I'd seen it with his clients plenty of times, but it's different when you experience it yourself. When my roommate and I started looking for a condo to lease in Downtown Toronto in mid-June with an August 1st move-in date, I reached out to him and he delivered in a way that displayed a great deal of professionalism and client service. My roommate and I were both shocked and impressed at how fast things happened throughout this process. The situation wasn't easy and I don't want to undersell how much he had to juggle to make it work. Downtown Toronto is an incredibly competitive rental market and good units move fast. My roommate is a medical student and I'm a working professional, so our availability was limited and our schedules didn't line up cleanly. To make things harder, my roommate was away the last two weeks of July and I was going to be away the first week of August, which meant we had an incredibly tight window to find something, view it, apply, and get approved before one of us was gone. Harman had to coordinate everything around those constraints, follow up with landlords and listing agents on our timeline, and keep the process moving without us being able to show up at a moment's notice the way most renters can.Despite all of that, he pulled it together. He lined up 4 places for us to see in a single day to make the most of the time we had, and he had our deal completely wrapped up in 4 days. We ended up in a condo we genuinely love, in the neighbourhood (+ budget) we wanted, on the timeline we needed. I can say without hesitation that it wouldn't have come together that way without him putting in the extra effort behind the scenes. If you're looking to buy or rent and want someone who actually goes to bat for you, Harman is the person to call.
