Best restaurant in Lake Placid. I moved here from the Hudson Valley about 3 years ago and as a huge foodie, never realized how good I had it. Most of LP is burgers and fries and steaks BUT at a premium price and a subpar quality. (Some exceptions such as Lisa G’s, Breakfast club, ADK Street eats, etc etc..) This place has awesome quality food, decent prices, good portions, insanely good service, and most importantly, CULTURE! 10/10 spot. Grateful to have them here in LP. Mickey and Joy are great! Less

Food is really good; but more than that they have one of the finest services I have sever seen in USA Indian restaurants.We visited before my spouse’s birthday and they serve cake and Payesam free to follow the Indian birthday rituals!!If You are visiting Lake Placid make sure to visit this restaurant. This was my first experience having Indian fare and what an experience it was! The food was excellent, the service incredible; I've never had better service anywhere. From the chicken momos to the shrimp curry and everything in between, this was an incredible meal. Joy was an incredible host/wait staff and so patient explaining what items were as well as heat (spice) intensity. This may have been my first experience with Indian fare, but it won't be my last. Phenomenal experience! Ambience was cozy and upscale, service was the excellent (even gave us warm towelettes and had a robot help delivering food which was really neat). Lots of mocktail options—loved the mango kiss! We had chai, samosa, cut mirchi pakoda, chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, shrimp curry, paneer pasanda, garlic naan, and rice pudding. Everything was super tasty and flavorful, but the mango kiss mocktail and garlic naan were some of the best we’ve ever had! The table next to us got their sizzling chocolate cake desert, which smelled amazing, if only we had more room. We were staying in Lake Placid for a few days, and this was by far the best restaurant we tried while here. Less

Atmosphere is beautiful, staff attentive and friendly, food delish! Cannot wait to go back! We had the chicken vindaloo, chicken dilbar masala, lamb curry, a fish special, pork chops, spring rolls, and vegetable fritters, and they were all worth ordering again. Less
