Hurricane Ian caused trees to fall on my tile roof. Roof tiles were damaged, and water leaked into my house. Shortly after the storm, Knox personnel were in our community, and I stopped one of their employees and asked them to cover my roof with a tarp. The next day, Brandon Taylor, a Knox manager, came to my house and I signed documents locking Knox Services in as my roofing contractor. Overall, Knox did a wonderful job. The roof looks excellent, and we are very pleased with the help Brandon Taylor provided to my wife and I through all aspects of the roof replacement. Among the documents I signed was a waiver that waived Knox's liability for driveway damage. Because I had never had a tile roof installed, I didn't know, until recently, that it is common for roofing companies to damage driveways. Many driveways were damaged in my community. I was fortunate because my driveway only had spider cracks, and the repair only cost me $650. If the concrete had needed to be replaced, the cost would have been much higher. So, I understand why Knox has the waivers. However, I think Knox should consider doing two things; 1) figure out a much more robust method of protecting driveways 2) add language in the waiver that allows for minor repair (maybe up to $1,000). If I could give Knox 4.75 stars, I would. So, I must round up to 5 stars. Less

I highly recommend using Knox Services for your roofing needs. I am a part of a community who had to have new roofs put on all of our buildings after being devasted after hurricane Ian. A big task to accomplish, especially in this Florida weather. From day one, Nelson (site supervisor) went door to door, speaking to all the residents , to make sure this project goes smoothly and that the residents are safe, happy & informed during this type of construction. Nelson went out of his way to make sure my elderly mother could safely get out of the building during the tear-off & rebuild. Anytime I called him, he was here in minutes. Any issues that would arise, he figured out or fixed promptly. All while managing several crews rebuilding roofs, a year long project. What has me most impressed with Nelson is his dedication to his job & customers. No matter what time of day/weekend. Several of these times were not during working hours. He was such a pleasure to work with in such a stressful time of repairing after Hurricane Ian. He is also very professional, respectful of my home, schedule & situation.
