I’ve been going to eye doctors for 13 years and New York Optical has been the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had! Everyone on the team is so knowledgeable and truly passionate about what they do. Dr. O’Connell took the time to explain what she was doing and why it matters! When i walked in, i was told that I’ll learn more about my eyes with Dr. O’Connell than ever before. Boy, was that true! This was the first time I’ve gone to an eye doctor on my own insurance plan and in the capital region. The front desk staff made sure that I got the most out of my insurance and was getting the best deal! Myself and my fiancé will be customers as long as we live in the region!

Great experience at New York Optical! One of the nose pads on my glasses suddenly fell off, and I happened to be nearby for lunch, so I stopped in to see if they could help.They immediately took care of it and quickly replaced both nose pads with a new set. The best part is that I didn’t even buy my glasses from them. I offered to pay, but they wouldn’t accept any money.Super friendly, helpful, and generous service. Really appreciate the kindness — highly recommended!

Alayna is the sales representative that took care of me on my visit. She is very knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. She answered all my questions and even assisted me with choosing a frame and a transitional lens color for my new glasses. I am very pleased with my visit to NY Optical.
