Don't believe the single positive reviewer - that person has 30 reviews, mostly of fast food places, and nothing negative. Buried in that fluff is a positive review of this business, which I doubt is legitimate.Personally, my advice is to give yourself a paper cut and pour lemon juice on it. If you find that enjoyable, you may enjoy working with this construction group. If not, then go to the trouble of learning a bit about the kind of construction you want, get competitive bids, create a strict punch list, and don't be glad-handed, and yes'sed to death. Most of all, with certain companies be prepared to follow and oversee as you would a junior high shop class. Don't expect much higher quality, either. Check that they actually have insurance (and that the name on the insurance is theirs); check that the business applying for the builder's permit is actually the business you are contracting to do the work. Be sure you have clear and strict delivery dates, be aware of your recourse for sub-standard work, and do not believe a single thing told to you verbally. Get everything - and I mean everything - in writing. NO VERBAL GUARANTEES! This all sounds like a headache, but it's less of one than if you don't do these steps.
