I've been coming to this dental office shortly after they opened as I live just up the hill. The space is modern and clean. They always have good music playing and the staff are nice and seem to like working together. Although yesterday, it sounded they were having Club Omnia as they were playing Neo and Usher....haha!They've made so many new updates since my last visit 6 months ago! Yesterday, I got X-rays and I didn't need to bite down and it was much more comfortable. They also had the glasses that shield your eyes but now you can see Netflix inside the glasses!Because I said I had some discomfort when biting down hard on one of my molars, they took a 3D scan of my teeth and I was able to see the entire surface of all of my teeth within minutes!Then they said the tool they use to deep clean your teeth is new also and uses warm water instead the ice cold water that used to make you wince! Jenika, the dental hygienist, was amazing and made everything smooth and comfortable. She applied a solution on the surface of my teeth that stains the plaque and gunk on your teeth purple, which highlights where to target the deep cleaning. Genius!Although the new warm water jet feels marginally nicer than the old ice cold water, that jet was 5 times more powerful! My teeth and gums have never been cleaner but my gums were soooooo sore and tender the rest of the day, especially when I was eating dinner later that night.I've always seen Dr. Kim before but I guess she is now mainly in their Fullerton office. I'm kinda bummed because I really liked Dr. Kim. She was really thorough, knowledgeable, nice and friendly.I take pretty good care of my teeth so I only really need twice-a-year visits and my last 2 appointments were with Dr. Priyawat. She's also really nice and knowledgable too.The only thing I was disappointed about was they didn't have anymore Nimbus toothbrushes so I didn't get my usually bag of Nimbus toothbrush, travel toothpaste and floss. They said they'll order more. I am going to remind my husband to get a bag for me when he has his appointment next week.
