Well, my experience with Clear Vision is this: the doctor and the staff in general are fabulous. You will receive top-notch medical care. As for the surgery, I wanted to wait a year after my second surgery to give my opinion, and my opinion is that I didn't minimize the side effects. My vision is not the same in both eyes, and the dryness wasn't temporary either. It's been a year since my second surgery, and my vision is still blurry in my left eye, and that's very frustrating. So, before having surgery, consider that the results might not be what you're expecting.

I had cataract surgery in both eyes and have been wearing strong prescription glasses my whole life. I see perfectly now without the need for glasses. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The Team Dr Vrabec assembled (Christa, Dr Peters, Hillary, Nurse Mary) are all outstanding.

Haven't had my PRK surgery yet, but wanted to leave honest feedback from my consultation.After getting my eyes dilated, I was sent outside with no sunglasses. Could barely see to get to my car. The office had just closed by then, so there was no one to ask for help. Ended up sitting in my car for almost two hours waiting for my eyes to adjust enough to drive.I get that you see the optometrist before the surgeon, that's normal. But I specifically asked to speak with the surgeon that day and was told he was in surgery. Fine, except no one followed up with me afterward. I had to go back to the front desk myself to push for that conversation.My main issue is distance vision, with some trouble up close too, but the refraction testing didn't really dig into how the new prescription would affect my near vision, which is part of why I came in.The exam results were also confusing. My first refraction (non-dilated) had inconsistent results between eyes, so they dilated me to get a clearer picture. That became my "real" prescription, but when I mentioned that letters still looked a little hazy either way, that never really got addressed. I also asked if I could just get a glasses prescription in the meantime and was told it "didn't make sense," which seems backwards to me. If there's uncertainty about getting it exactly right, I'd think glasses first (and adjusting from there) makes more sense than jumping straight to surgery.I've heard great things about this place, so maybe it was just an off day. But for a first consultation, I expected a lot more consistency.I will update my review, if I see a turnaround, because I give the benefit of the doubt.But as of now I'm not convinced for a surgery here, and will look elsewhere

I can’t recommend Dr Vrabec enough! He took good care of me during my cataract surgeries. He explained everything he was doing to me during my surgery. He is so skilled and knowledgeable at his profession.Dr Kaji and Dr Peterson his Optometrists are very knowledgeable and kind. They are a great addition to his team.Christa who runs his front desk is so efficient, friendly, and welcoming.Hilary who did my eye testing is professional, knowledgeable and very nice.I was very anxious for my surgeries.Nurse Mary, Brittany, and the surgical teamre-assured me that everything would run smoothly which it did.Highly recommend Dr Vrabec and his team. They’re the best!

The entire staff is professional and friendly. I was comfortable discussing my condition and procedure with Dr. Vrabec. I didn't feel rushed nor unheard. I had some personal post-op issues, and they were addressed throughly. Follow up was thorough as well.

I would highly recommend Clear Vision Cataract & LASIK Center in Rochester, MI for cataract surgery. I am having great results with my multifocal lens choice. Dr Joshua Vrabec and his staff were very pleasant and professional, and their office is well-appointed. During my initial consultation with Dr Jenn Peterson, she informed me of the lens options suitable for my eye health, and she and the staff provided thorough information on the pre-op, surgery and follow-up procedures. They answered all questions I asked and put me at ease. I was able to have both of my eye surgeries within one week, and it did take 4 - 6 weeks for my brain to adjust to the new lens, just as they said. Very pleased with my new vision after 60 years with glasses!
