I’m from out of town and just wanted to roll a few times while in town and this place was amazing! It’s the nicest cleanest gym I’ve ever been in, Coach Caleb was the instructor for the classes I sat in on and he was deadly, I always ask “dumb” questions to help me piece movements together in my head and he was super knowledgeable in answering them all in an easy to digest way, I rolled with several people including multiple purple belts, which all rolled at a perfect pace with a fun vibe, there was zero ego rolls which was very surprising because usually purple belts put it on blues :) its always a bit awkward going into a new gym but this place was super accommodating, polite and welcoming, I will be going back this week and every summer I’m in town!

Good people breed good people, I’ve been in town exploring the jiujitsu scene and I literally stumbled on a gem of gym , pristine instruction , welcoming and team like mentality , safe rolls and can’t forget great music . I am a blue belt with Ascendant Martial Arts a Renzo Gracie affiliate and I highly recommend Socius Jiujitsu, I willBe back once I make my final move to Winnipeg!

As a Brazilian who trained back home, I came to Socius with high expectations, and this gym absolutely delivered. The level of BJJ here is outstanding and authentic. Coaches Randal, Kevin, and Caleb are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very good teachers who know how to guide and challenge each student. The training is tough in all the right ways, structured with discipline and respect. Feels like home away from home. Highly recommend!
