I engaged their services in the fall of 2024 to build an “In Laws” suite in the lower level of our home. From the original consultation to project completion inspection, Quacy and his team were incredibly professional throughout. Through the design aspect, we articulated our needs and Quacy provided recommendations and rationale through the whole design phase. Once complete, he prepared a quote and project plan, with deliverable dates, to review and approve. Once approved, the Project began on schedule. The team of professional trades showed up each day as scheduled, and were courteous and considerate to the fact that there were family members living in the upper levels of the house. At the end of each day, the work space was cleaned up and left in a safe state, for the next days work. During the selection of furnishings, we decided on an upgraded countertop. Quacy quickly put in a minor change order for review and approval, and that order was placed. That change was easy, and did not impact the final delivery date. The final inspection was nothing short of incredible. Although we had seen the progress throughout, the reveal was spectacular. Everything was in its’ place (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer) and all the kitchen cabinetry and counters were amazing. Just like the drawings and our mental images. We converted our basement to a legal unit and after filtering several contractors, I narrowed down BCR based on feedback from social media platforms. From the get go, we knew we were dealing with a genuine and honest company. For the initial meeting, he traveled all the way from Toronto to Waterloo and was right on tike, talk about making the best first impression. From there it was just a smooth journey, he walked us through the process and was there until wrap up. Project was done on time, they managed to deal with the home inspector who gave a tough time for no reason. The overall quality of work is outstanding and the best feedback we received was from the most unexpected but reliable source. Our fire alarms recently went off and we had to call fire service to check it out. After clearing the place, the chief told us that we have done a great job with our basement and that he was glad that all fire codes were properly followed.
