We met for lunch today. They were busy but handling it well. We waited about 10 minutes before being seated. The server, Jesse, was excellent. I had the brisket platter with green beans and Mac & cheese. That was the best brisket I have ever had! It was so tender I could cut it with a fork. The mac&cheese was creamy and delicious.

We arrived about 30 minutes before they closed not sure if they would accommodate us be ing so late. They welcomed us with open arms and true southern hospitality! Great food, great service and a very hard working team of people all pulling the same direction. The brisket, ribs and hickory smoked sausage was excellent! Well done Haywood Smokehouse we will be back.

The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was great as well as the fried ribs. Baked beans were also super. I gave my 3 rating based on the mac and cheese and bananna pudding. The mac and cheese tasted off, their recipe uses 3 cheeses. They would not tell me what cheeses wewe used. The bananna pudding was Ok, not enough cookies or bananas , with too much whipped topping.

The food here is great but the service trumps even the food. I told the waiter my brisket was too dry and he immediately offer to bring me the fattier brisket pieces . I had the 2 meat tray and the smoked turkey was divine! Tender, wonderful smoky taste and juicy. I'm a vinegar slaw person but their slaw was really good. Get the baked beans!! They were sooo good. Hubby got the chopped pork on toast sandwich and said it was reslly good! Son got potato salad and mac n cheese with the smoked turkey and brisket and he loved his. Daughter in-law got quesadillas and loved them. You can not go wrong with this place!! New favorite bbq!
