This is a fabulous venue with creative, delicious cocktails and exciting canapés.The fitout is very classy art deco with a fantastic vibe for couples, friends and groups. The service is top notch.Highly recommend and will be returning very soon!

We love the vibe at Nick and Nora's... the food is interesting but the duck liver Canaveral was too sweet. The waiters are congenial but don't read the room.

We stopped in to this lively cocktail bar on our way home from dinner. I really liked the art deco feel of the place and the service and cocktails were good.. It is well hidden away, with the outside signage only saying Champagne and Cocktails, not Nick & Nora's. Well worth a visit.

There is an incredible amount of skill and theatre put into every cocktail at Nick and Nora’s. Likewise, the service is personal, engaging and guaranteed to make any occasion a memorable event. The neo-deco interior is classy and welcoming drawing in an equally elegant and well attired crowd. Whilst the food is good, it’s the drinks that make this place great for special occasions.

Nick & Nora’s in Melbourne CBD nails the 1920s glamour – all velvet, brass, and Art Deco style. The cocktails are spot-on, some of the best you’ll find in the city. No coffees, and the strawberry cheesecake was good but not amazing. Still, for the drinks and the atmosphere, it’s a total winner.

I celebrated my birthday here on the weekend with a group of 11, and we had such a wonderful time. The food & cocktails were delicious, and the service was wonderful!Special shoutout to Tina who was on top of everything! I can't imagine what it's like dealing with a big group of people and she went above and beyond to accommodate us, and was just super patient. Thanks Tina!

Nick and Nora’s is such a vibe and we had an absolute blast there the other night. The whole place has this cool upscale feel but it’s still super relaxed and not stuffy at all which we loved. We started off with those cocktails with the bubbles which looked awesome and tasted even better then moved onto an Old Fashioned that was spot on and really hits the mark if you like a classic drink. The food was easily some of the best we’ve had in a while especially the lobster roll which was packed with meat and served on a perfectly buttery bun. We also put away some incredibly fresh oysters a great plate of tender octopus with a nice char and some really tasty tacos that rounded everything out. Between the top tier service and the killer atmosphere it’s the perfect spot for a night out when you want to feel a bit fancy but still have a great time and we will definitely be back for another round.

I booked Nick and Nora’s for my birthday in January and it was a wonderful success.The night’s weather was a classic moody Melbourne experience with a hot day which turned into showers at night. I had originally booked outside but called ahead, because of the weather, to check if it was possible to move us inside. The host accommodated my booking with ease, even saying “with our bookings tonight and Melbournes unpredictability, you can choose when you arrive, don’t stress” which I appreciated greatly.When we got in, the venue itself was moody in the best possible way. A beautifully lit and decorated spot with vintage finishes, and appropriate music choices, which screamed date night cocktail bar; I loved it.We had delicious cocktails which were filled with whimsy and charm, as well as nibbly food to go alongside. My only critique would be on the food. It was tasty but some items were not available and overall I found the food items were lacking a bit of “something special”.But what made the night the success it was, was the friendly, attentive, and approachable staff. I could not fault them or their service.We had the privilege of being able to stay past our booking time and I’m so glad we did. Thank you for a wonderful night out, it made my birthday a night to remember.

What a vibe! Love finding this speakeasy bar. The cocktails were delicious, food was great and the service impeccable. I cannot fault this place. It’s now one of my favorites in Melbourne.
