They delivered it fast and it all arrived with no damage, but some products are really good (moist and flavorful) and some are absolutely horrible tasting (dry and bland, seemingly old or stale). The quality is extremely inconsistent and makes me never want to shop again and be a repeat customer due to my order of four items being two busts and two greats. The cashews and pitted neglet noor dates are great. Yet the same brand hazelnuts as the cashews are flavorless and the same brand medjool dates as the smooth pitted ones are horrible and seem old or stale with half visibly wrinkly and dried up and not sweet. I've included the dates for comparison. A side note is that nothing came in resealable packaging, making me waste more bags just to store it properly after opening. I have never received bulk items without resealable packaging before. I have contacted the company with detailed pictures after this disappointing experience to see how they can remedy it and hopefully make it right. I ordered the simplest of things, a 5-lb bag of KASHA - toasted buckwheat, crunchy and chewy. What I received in a bag labeled Kasha was RAW BUCKWHEAT - hard as rocks, inedible. Of course, there's really no telling what's in the bag until you open it... and then it's too late to return it. Do not order from these people. They don't seem to know what they're selling nor do they care. Raw buckwheat in baked goods will break teeth. They stung me for one order plus shipping costs, but they won't get another. I just recently found out about this store and, let me tell you, this is the coolest store! They have a ton of gluten-free and dairy-free items as well as a great selection of teas, supplements, soaps and aromatherapy oils. They also have a catalog that you can order from and orders over $99 ship for free. However, you get 15% off of everything when you shop in-store. The prices aren't bad either. I compared the price of Xanthum gum and it was cheaper here than at Meijer. The woman working at the store (Caroline) was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have free shipping if you make an order over $100 (and the oats didn't come to nearly that much!), so I rounded out my order with some honey and a few packages of nuts. CLNF is a clean store that has great products, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. I have been coming to Country Life/Oak Haven since I was a kid; visiting with my parents. Unfortunately, the last two times I have been there to shop one of their staff has not been masking properly - the first time having their nose out of the mask and the most recent time wearing a veil-type mask that didn't cover the mouth.
