Bedford Chiropractic Clinic

So despite having been to another chiropractor before, I needed to see one asap and bedford chiropractic clinic had been recommended to me(I couldn't get into mine for a while and it was over an hour away for me when Bedford was 20 minutes )So I phoned at 4 pm one afternoon ,got through to Dr Sandhu and managed to get an appointment for 5.30 the same day . I thought that I was lucky and someone had cancelled.Anyway ,I turned up 10 minutes early as asked to . The business is in a building with other businesses . A couple just leaving the building let me in and informed me that no one was at the Chiropractors and they were known for missing appointments, so that didnt bode well.So I phoned them and it went straight to voicemail. Anyway Dr Sandhu turned up 10 minutes later than the appointment as he had got stuck in traffic.I was given a couple of forms to fill in , while I was filling them in Dr Sandhu received a phone call and arranged to see another person the following day . Now the Chiropractor I've seen before is always busy and you can very rarely get 1 appointment straight away ,let alone 2 within 24 hours of each other so this had me thinking.Anyway Dr Sandhu himself seemed a lovely bloke ,explained everything clearly and we went through a few things . I went in for achilles heel problem but we seemed to be concentrating on every other part of my body , while doing all this the phone kept ringing and he had to leave the room 3 or 4 times to answer the calls. I appreciate that he didn't have a secretary at that time of day but I would have thought he should have given his full attention to me, his client .And then came out details of payment . So I could choose to pay per visit , but he brought out a pre printed sheet with a graph type illustration on , roughly saying you can pay now for 10 or 12 sessions ,not sure which , and safe x amount of pounds, or have 6 treatments which you pay for there and then in order to save x amounts of pounds. Now having seen a Chiropractor before I knew that I had had my original session and then the next one was booked 3 months away ,and if I felt better or worse I could make it to whenever I wanted to suit me .So I'm not sure how Dr Sandhu said that I should come back 3 days later ,then the following week ,and then 2 weeks later. And how he would know that ,presumably most people , would need the 10 lessons to get fully sorted out or the 6 lessons to get you pain free.It all seemed like it was a well informed sales pitch to get me to book as many sessions as possible when I didn't need it . And less than a week later my achilles feels fine so it looks like I wouldn't have needed to spend loads of money for 10 or 12 sessions anywaySo in my opinion I wasn't very impressed to say the least and won't be visiting again
