I came across River City Hearing from a Google Search. I was looking for someone local that could provide a comprehensive hearing test so that I could have a baseline to know the current status of my hearing. I also wanted to discuss tinnitus and what some of the options are for dealing with that condition. I served as a UH-1H (Huey) helicopter crew chief and mechanic in the U.S. Army. My duties required frequent and prolonged exposure to high levels of aircraft noise, including helicopter turbine engine noise, main and tail rotor noise, transmission and drivetrain noise, aircraft run-ups, and maintenance testing. I was also exposed to weapons fire during training exercises and field operations. This noise exposure was often sustained over extended periods and occurred on a routine basis throughout my military service. I scheduled an appointment. The office staff were very helpful and courteous in helping set that up. Ann was very helpful in discussing options for dealing with my tinnitus. She performed the comprehensive hearing test and was able to easily explain the results to help me determine what my baseline levels currently are. She clearly discussed what options River City Hearing could provide and if there were gaps in items that I was concerned about she provided me with suggestions of other local services to contact. I like the fact that they are independently owned and don't answer to a "name brand company". You get honest answers that way. I like the fact that they offer discounted hearing evaluations for veterans and their spouses, with priority scheduling for those who served. Companies that give back to Veterans are 100% GOOD TO GO in my opinion. Thanks!!!!

Ann is very knowledgeable and helpful. She had to unravel some issues I was having with my hearing aids I bought elsewhere and now I hear better than ever. Her assistant Brittany is also as wonderful. I highly recommend! Would not think of going anywhere else for my hearing aid needs.
