I dropped off a dress for dry cleaning. When I picked the dress up, the fabric texture was noticeably different than when I dropped it off. There were small strands/fraying coming off the sides of the dress, and the material appeared to have lint throughout it. The dress was brand new and had only been worn once before being brought in.I checked the care tag, and it states to hand wash cold and line dry, so I’m concerned about how the garment was cleaned and whether the cleaning method used may have damaged the fabric. Given all of the fraying strands and lint all over it, I don't think it was cleaned according to the tag.I’m especially frustrated because the dress itself cost $85, in addition to the $20 I paid for the cleaning service. I contacted this establishment over email and phone and was told to bring the dress in. I explained that I don't live near hendersonville, nc anymore and offered to send more photos. I was told a manager would contact me and never heard anything again.
