Dropped a ring off for sizing on a Friday afternoon at lunch. Was told that they'd have it done in less than a week, the following Thursday rolled around, still no call, so I gave them a ring. The gentleman who answered was rude to me when I said I was checking on my ring, without even checking, he said if we didn't call, it isn't done. I said, could you please check the status as I was told it would be done in less than a week and tomorrow is a week. He says nothing and just puts me on hold. He comes back 4 minutes later staying it wasn't done. I again asked how long it would be, again stating what I was told for the completion timeframe I was given. He said maybe tomorrow, but we'll call when it's done. At this point, I'm upset that it's not completed in the timeframe I was given but said ok. The following day, still no call. At 510pm, I give them a call again to check the status because they now would be closing in less than an hour, I advised if it wasn't started that I just wanted to come pick it up and get refunded, the associate put me on hold and checked. She came back after 6 minutes stating they were just finishing it up, that they needed to check all the stones to make sure everything was tight and I could pick it up, with a bit of an attitude. Since it only takes about half an hour to size a ring, they obviously waited until the last minute to complete it. I worked in jewelry, including being a jeweler who did such things as sizing and stone setting. This, to me is unacceptable. The only good thing I will say is that my ring fits now and the associate who assisted me when I picked up was the nicest interaction I had through this entire process. I don't recommend using for these services unless you have no time frame that you need your piece back.***Revising review - lost multiple stones after sizing...within a week or so...they made it right by replacing the missing stones and making sure all was secure before returning to me...it's been a year and stones are all still in place safely. Came in for a price quote for a dented ring, left very satisfied. They ended up fixing it right then and there, very cheaply. My ring looks beautiful and is perfectly shaped and even prior scratches and dents are invisible. Very thankful for their quick service, personality, and care they took with a very sentimental piece. Love this family owned jewelry store! I have diamond stud in my ears that I've had for 5 years! I’ve only ever removed them for cleaning & I’ve never had one single issue with them! Brought 4 watches in for new batteries and got very prompt and curteous service. Waiting time for batteries to be changed was less than 10 minutes. One watch was analog with a digital display and the analog battery was bad. I thought the analog battery would be underneath the digital battery, but it was not and the jeweler could not find it at first. I alerted the lady who waited on me that there is instructions in VERY SMALL print on how to replace the analog battery located on the underneath of the watch back. I could hardly read it myself with my magnifying glass. I also had my reading glasses on too. The jeweler was able to read the instructions with their magnification equipment(which is a lot better than what I have)and replace the battery. The watch has 2 movements and you had to lift one of them out to replace the analog battery. I did however pop the back off and was going to attempt to replace the battery myself, but when I saw on how the watch was constructed, I decided to bring it here and get it replaced. All 4 watches now are working perfectly. I have been coming here for several years to get my watch batteries replaced and have always received excellent service each visit. Less
